  1. Penelope J. Bahr says:

    Hi there,
As a new attendee I have lots of questions.
Are the minutes of the past meetings posted anywhere?
If so, how soon are they posted as a rule (just for my info, so that I don’t pester ahead of time).
Can attendees make a motion from the floor?
Are Robert’s rules the ones used as guidelines? Don’t want to get too silly with rules, but it’s useful to know procedure. I felt at a bit of a loss at the meeting.
Thanks for your help in these matters.
Penelope (not Penny please if you can help it. I won’t bite if you use it, but I cringe inwardly.)

-Minutes are filed in the office and available on request.
    -Roberts rules are used.
-Motions from the public aren’t taken from the floor during the meeting.
-Send a request for a discussion on the topic a week ahead so it gets on the agenda.
-Check ahead to ensure the meeting is going ahead, as if there is nothing on the agenda they are sometimes not called.
